Re-living The Past
Staged photography project which has allowed me to capture how I see female’s roles in today’s society. My idea came from memories; being born and raised in Eastern Europe in post communist country with very stereotypical mindset of the environment I lived in. Daily activities being passed from generation to generation and yet still being called traditions and ways of living. Grown up dominantly in female environment has extend my own experiences with different situations which not always seemed fair. My photographs were staged metaphoric scenes of my mother’s life that are vividly live in my memory until this day and now are trying to be traditionally impressed into my life as a continuous curse.
